The natural preserve „Tre Cine di Lavaredo“ is located in the South tirol area of world famous Sextner Dolomites, close to the Austrian boarder. Particularly known for and characterized by the three peaks, the UNESCO world heritage park is the dolomites’ landmark and a popular attraction for both adventurers and professional climbers, as well as visitors drawn by the panoramic scenery. Named „big peak“, „small peak“ and „western peak“ based on their shape and location, the rocks mainly consist of dolomite - a stone that dates back to the Trias period and is more than 200 million years old. The territory can be explored via various hiking routes. The three peaks can be circumwalked in a total of about 4 hours of easy to moderate hiking. Additionally, the nearby Innerfeldtal, Dürrensee and Fischleintal offer scenic views, mountain breezes of clean air and multiple opportunities for tours, excursions and the laid-back natural Dolomite feel.
